Intellectual Property

After you create it, we protect and enhance it

If you created something out of your own brain that you want to share or sell to others, that’s intellectual property. You have rights to it by virtue of having created it. Then we enhance those rights, and make sure they’re protected.

We help artists, musicians, writers and other individuals or small businesses protect their intellectual property with:

Copyrights

Copyright is a set of six rights given to creators of literary and artistic works. Those six rights govern the right to reproduce, distribute, perform or re-interpret those works, and to authorize others to do the same. Copyright protects all original works of authorship, ranging from books, music and artwork to computer programs, mobile apps, game development and advertisements.

Trademarks

A trademark is a word, phrase or sign (or a combination thereof) that is used to identify and distinguish the goods or services of one party from those of another. Familiar symbols include “SM” (service mark), “TM” (trademark) and (R) (registered trademark). You can trademark anything from words and phrases to product packaging, distinguishing colors or shapes, and even fragrances.

Other services

We can also help with licensing and contracts for your intellectual property. Whether it’s setting up protection for your creative works and other intellectual property, or investigating potential violations of it, we can help.
